The CannyKindCo
The CannyKind Co. has been created through a project called Bee-Lieve, Big River Bakery is facilitating as part of the North East Combined Authority Trailblazer Programme. This project is a 6-month pilot supporting women who are economically inactive and who have health barriers to employment.
The CannyKind Co. was created by the first participants of our project to be run as an enterprise to give skills and confidence. Our very first product is a premium luxury handmade organic lip balm made with only 3 quality ingredients: organic jojoba oil, organic cocoa butter, and organic beeswax. Now for sale at £10- all profits from sales will be invested back into The CannyKind Co. and we are hoping to create a women's co-operative that will support and employ women with barriers to employment going forward. This project gives women confidence and makes them feel empowered. We are very proud of our first product—and we hope you will be too.
